- Description
- The Air Force utilizes multiple Test Program Sets (TPS) hosted on the Common Organizational Level Tester (COLT) to maintain the weapon delivery systems on the B-2 aircraft. The established B-2 maintenance concept involves using the COLT as an off aircraft diagnostic tool, applying one of several TPSs to assess/troubleshoot Rotary Launcher Assembly (RLA), Smart Bomb Rack Assembly (SBRA), Massive Ordinance Penetrator (MOP) Interface TPS (MIT), Bomb Rack Unit-44 (BRU-44) system health. The TPSs include the test software that executes on the COLT, and all cabling and hardware required to connect the unit under test to the COLT to complete the testing. This effort is considered a logical follow on for continued support of highly specialized equipment and represents new efforts to acquire the necessary hardware and software engineering upgrades, organic depot training support, and Interim Contractor Support (ICS) for the RLA TPS, SBRA TPS, MIT, and BRU-44 TPS. The contract is anticipated to be a firm-fixed-priced services contract, with one base year and two option years.
