- The Regional Contracting Office Bavaria, Grafenwoehr, Germany, has a requirement for the procurement of SAAB Deployable Instrumented Training System (DITS). All items must be compatible and interface with existing army training equipment. The Government intends to award a sole source contract in order to avoid warranty nullification on existing training equipment manufactured by SAAB, Training and Simulation, AB. The anticipated period of performance is December 2012. The training equipment is currently located at a facility in Germany. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this announcement. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this announcement.
