- Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) has a requirement for the procurement of 76 component parts for the conversion of 250 vehicles. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, when there is a supply or service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency's needs. This requirement will be negotiated on a limited basis with Spartan Chassis, Inc., 1111 Mikesell Street, Charlotte, MI 48813 Cage Code 36MV0, in which a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract will be issued. The FOB point is Letterkenny Army Depot (Destination). Solicitation number W911N2-12-R-0090 will be released O/A 1 October 2012, Closing date: O/A 9 October 2012. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. All interested sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ O/A 1 October 2012.
