- The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) and the Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS) intend to award a 3-Year IDIQ contract (FY 13-FY 15) for the following Caliber.38 and.45 Cartridges: - Caliber.38 Special Ball M41 / 1305-00-322-6391 / A400 - Caliber.38 Special Blank / 1305-00-810-8250 / A403 - Caliber.38 Special Ball Wadcutter / 1305-00-123-0548 / A404 - Caliber.45 Ball M1911 / 1305-00-301-1685 / A475 - Caliber.45 Match Wadcutter / 1305-00-892-4230 / A482 - Caliber.45 Ball Match Grade M1911 / 1305-00-892-2526 / A483 Estimated Solicitation Issue Date: October 15, 2012 Estimated Solicitation Closing Date: November 14, 2012 This acquisition is subject to Full and Open competition. The guaranteed minimum quantity for this contract is 79,875 cartridges. The following is the estimated quantity projection (FY/QTY): FY13 / 5.4 M FY14 / 5.4 M FY15 / 5.4 M NOTE: Quantities are estimates only and may be less than or potentially more than the estimated quantities shown above. Orders with definitive quantities will be placed, when required, and will be priced subject to the winning offeror's proposed range of prices. These requirements are currently unfunded. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://www4.osc.army.mil/padds_web/refdb.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same.
