- Description
- This solicitation will contain one NSN (3110-00-524-4569) Bearing, Universal, Spherical. This is an IQC with one base and four option years, for an estimated quantity of 156 each. This is a sole-source requirement. The approved source is Rexnord Industries, LLC (CAGE 77896). The Item Description is in accordance with Bell Helicopter drawing 97499 214-010-434 (i/a/w latest revision), P/N 214-010-434-1. There is no surge requirement for this NSN. This is a Stocked Item. The FOB point is Destination; Inspection and Acceptance is Origin. This NSN is a non-commercial, configuration control, critical application item. This NSN has been identified as a Navy Critical Safety Item (CSI). The Foreign Bearing restriction applies to this procurement. The required delivery is 181 days ARO. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is solicited on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis and will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated RFP issue date is October 13, 2012 (anticipated closing date of November 13, 2012).
