Description
STATEMENT OF WORK HIGH FLOW NASAL CANNULA OXYGEN SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS A.DESCRIPTION: HIGH FLOW NASAL OXYGEN SYSTEM (1) ONE COMPLETE The High Flow Nasal Cannula Oxygen System must be a simple to use, complete system that is designed specifically to provide adequately humidified and heated (?30 ° C) high flow (greater than 18 LPM) oxygen to the patient nares for spontaneously breathing adult and pediatric patients. MUST MEET OR EXCEED SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS BELOW: UTILITY REQUIREMENTS: "Electricity: 110 VAC, 60 Hz, 300 VA (Heater) "Medical Air: 50 PSIG, DISS Air input "Oxygen: 50 PSIG, DISS O2 input FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 1.PATIENT INTERFACE: The system must include a comfortable and reliable delivery interface to the patient nares, adaptable to various patient sizes. 2.VENTILATION SETTINGS PARAMETERS: The high flow system must provide the following control settings and ranges: i.Flowrate of up to 60 LPM ii.O2 (Oxygen concentration to be delivered) 21-100% 3.ALARMS: The system must have operator-adjustable alarms for FiO2 to help ensure patient safety. 4. ALARM SETTINGS: The noninvasive ventilator must provide the following Alarm settings i.Hi FiO2 ii.Lo FiO2 5.SYSTEM SETTINGS:The system must provide simple, turn-to-set interface for adjusting FiO2 and delivered flow. 6.TRANSPORTABILITY: The system must be able to be mounted to a universal stand. There must be optional cylinder holders on the stand to accommodate at least one each E-size oxygen and air cylinders. 7.ON-SITE SERVICE AND REPAIR: The system must be made up of readily available and interchangeable components allowing rapid on-site replacement and restored function.
