- SPECIAL NOTICE - NOTICE OF INTENT In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.201(b)(1)(i), this is a notice of the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center's intent to enter into a sole source contract with Carefusion Solutions to provide Pyxis service/maintenance for 78 units located at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center from 10/1/2012 - 9/30/2013. This action is authorized by FAR 8.4. This action is necessary due to the proprietary nature of the Pyxis systems currently in place. Responses are not being solicited to this notice. Any comments should be submitted to john.hull3@va.gov by 10:00 a.m. EST on 9/29/2012.
