- Description
- The United States Coast Guard, SFLC-CPD C&P2-IBCT PL, proposes to contract the planned dockside and repairs of USCGC HICKORY (WLB-212), a 225' "B Class" Seagoing Buoy Tender, moored at San Pedro, CA. All work shall be at Coast Guard Base LA/LB, 1001 S Seaside Ave., San Pedro, CA during the period of 14 January 2013 through 11 March 2013. Work items include but are not limited to: Main Diesel Engine (MDE) Exhaust Stack Uptakes, Clean; Ship Service Diesel Generator (SSDG) Exhaust Piping, Commercial Clean; Potable Water Pneumatic Tank, clean and Inspect; Compressed Air Receivers (All), Clean, Inspect and Hydro; Decks Exterior, Preserve ("Non-Skid Broadcast Grit" System)-Foc'sle; Buoy Deck Equipment Emergency Brake Release Hand Pump, Modify; Tanks (Potable Water), Preserve; Temporary Services; Hatch (Internal), Renew; SSDG Isolation Mount Renewal; SSDG Heat Exchanger Modifications; Hydraulic Buoy Chain Winch, Align; Cargo Hatch (Hydraulic), Overhaul and Repair; Buoy Crane, Main Boom Disassemble and Renew Hinge Bushings; Potable Water Tank Repair; Potable Water Room Passageway Deck, Preserve; Leslie Valves, Overhaul; Potable water System Relief Valve, Renew; Decks - Exterior, Preserve ("Non-skid Broadcast Grit" System) Fantail, Port and Stbd. Boat Deck Port and Stbd. bridge Wing, and Aircastle. On or about 06 September 2012, a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Total Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees.
