- Solicitation Number: W56HZV-12-R-0482 Notice Type: Modification to Presolicitation Synopsis: Added: August 8, 2012 8:30 am The United States Army Contracting Command - Warren has a requirement for the following item to support the MRAP Caiman Vehicle Variant. Item: Basic Issue Items (BII) Delta Kits (See attached Parts List). This requirement will be solicited as a one-time buy contract under Solicitation W56HZV-12-R-0482. The Solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The estimated quantity of the item has been updated from 2,071 to 2,076. A firm fixed price competitive procurement will be awarded to the offeror with the lowest evaluated price, most expedited delivery schedule, and meets all the material requirements of the solicitation and is found to be responsible in accordance with FAR 9.104. This solicitation will now be issued on or about August 15, 2012. Please refer to the solicitation for all terms, conditions, specifications, requirements, etc. The following website for actual posting of the solicitation is: https://contracting.tacom.army.mil/opportunity.htm. This is a pre-solicitation notice, otherwise known as a synopsis (summary). The solicitation pertaining to this notice will not be available until approximately seven (7) days from the date of this notice. Contractors should not call the Contract Specialist seeking either the solicitation or the drawings as they will not be available until approximately seven (7) days of this notice.
