- The following answers are in response to questions from industry received as of 08 August 2012. Q4. Do these stands need to be able to be taken apart? A4. No Q5. Are all the necessary small pieces of hardware stainless? A5. No. However the hardware needs to consist of material that allows the stands to last a long time. Q6. On Drawing MEA-D, Detail D, Shows what looks like a pin hole, next to the collard connection (and through out the bottom framing) is that a thru hole? A6. Yes. So we can adjust the height of the stands. Q7. On Drawing MEA-D1, Detail A, What type of casters are needed? A7. Please use casters with a locking mechanism that can withstand the load of two average sized adults(approximately 600 lb) Q8. Are the casters touching the floor when the four platform pivot feet are touching the floor as well? A8. No. Only when you extend the legs.
