- THIS IS AN AMENDMENT TO THE PREVIOUS NOTICE. The purpose of this amendment is to change the anticipated release date of the Request for Proposal (RFP) "FROM" 16 July 2012 "TO" on or about 10 August 2012. A site visit is tentatively scheduled at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras on 22-23 August 2012. In order to submit an official pass request for on-base access, the following information is required from all interested attendees: Name, SSN, Company Name, phone number, and a copy of official passport. The photocopy of the passport must be light enough for the picture to be recognizable and all information readable. There is a limit of three persons per company to attend the site visit; no exceptions will be granted. All required information is to be submitted to Rebecca Veliz at rebecca.s.veliz.civ@mail.mil no later than 12:00 p.m. central daylight time on 14 August 2012. All parties attending the site visit are to meet in front of the base Access Control Point (ACP) at 8:45 a.m. local time on 22 August 2012. Rental and/or private vehicles will not be allowed on base. Attendees shall park their vehicles in the ACP parking lot. Attendees will be picked-up at the ACP parking lot by a van or bus. One type of photo identification will also be required to gain entrance into the base. The Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist will be there to greet the attendees. Lodging accommodations are not available on Soto Cano Air Base. Those interested in attending are to make their own lodging reservations. There are hotels in Comayagua, which is a 10-15 minute drive from the base. No photographs will be allowed on Soto Cano. This restriction applies to the entire base.
