- Description
- Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center (VAMC)-Ann Arbor Healthcare System, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract supporting the Vector Research Project (Phase Two), NAICS Code 541711, size standard $14 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Diamyd Inc., 2100 Wharton Street, Suite 701, Pittsburgh, PA for this procurement based upon research performed during Phase 1 of the Vector Research Program. The Contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, labor, knowledge, techniques supervision, test equipment, and transportation necessary to perform the reference research requested by the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, for the period of Date of Award through December 31, 2014, in strict accordance with the statement of work, all schedules, and terms and conditions of the resultant contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 3:00PM (EST), August 29, 2012. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
