- The Operational Contracting, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for a neuromodulation spinal cord stimulator permanent implant under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) to Medtronic, Inc. 710 Medtronic Pkwy Minneapolis, MN 55432-5604. Anticipated award date is 17 August 2012. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: Spinal Cord Stimulator Permanent Implant, Total Quantity- 1 Each Implants. Implant includes the following items: Model No. 37712, Restore Sensor, QTY 1 each; Model No. 37752 External Patient Recharger QTY 1 each; Model No. 37743 Ultra Patient Programmer, QTY 1 each; Model No. 3778-45, 1x8 lead kit (45cm), QTY 2 each; Model No. 37092, External Patient Programmer Antenna, QTY 1 each, Model No. 3550-14, Curved-Tip Needle, QTY 2 each; and Model No. 3550-14, Multilead Trial Cable, QTY 1 each. These items must be delivered to: 96th Medical Material Management Squadron - FM2823 EGLIN AFB, FL 32542 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334510 small business size standard: 500 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 15 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
