- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Benning 31905-1339 anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract in which the Contractor shall provide all services, material, equipment, and labor to construct a Pre-Engineered structure with Electrical hook up for freezer box and lightning protection. Pre-Fabricated Metal Structure at Building 3460 in Sand Hill that shall result in a 38' x 20' covered structure to be constructed over freezer /cooler. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a small business size standard of $33.5 million. This procurement is set aside for Small Business nationwide. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract to a single awardee. A solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) utilizing FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This solicitation and all amendments will be issued via the internet only at the Army Single Face to Industry Website (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi and Federal Business Opportunities Website (FedBizOpps) at https://www.fbo.gov on or about July 20, 2012 with an anticipated closing date of August 21, 2012. Estimated magnitude of the requirement is between $45,000 and $49,000. It is each Bidders responsibility to download the solicitation from the internet website. No paper copies will be provided. Notification of amendments shall be made via the internet; it is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the ASFI and FedBizOpps website daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. A job site visit will be scheduled based on posted date of the solicitation. Bidders must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for the award.
