- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Morgantown, WV intends to issue solicitation RFQP01131200026 for the requirement of a Lincoln Electric VRTEX 360 Virtual Reality Arc Welding Trainer Machine, (Brand Name or Equal). This solicitation is unrestricted, FOB Destination. Delivery will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, Warehouse, 446 Greenbag Road, Morgantown, WV 26501. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. The solicitation will be available on or after July 13, 2012 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Sealed quotes shall be received on or before July 27, 2012 4:00 PM, local time. Quotes may be e-mailed to bpurkey@bop.gov, or mailed. Mailed and hand carried quotes must be delivered to the Contract Specialist at the following addresses: Federal Correctional Institution, ATTN: Contract Specialist, P.O. Box 1000, Morgantown, WV 26507-1000; or Federal Correctional Institution, ATTN: Contract Specialist, 446 Greenbag Road, Morgantown, WV 26501. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offeror is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at www.orca.bpn.gov. Faith-based and Community-based organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated award date is July 31, 2012.
