- SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services can satisfy agency requirements, it is the Government's intent to award a sole source to CLC Bio LLC 10 Rogers Street Ste # 101 Cambridge MA 02142-1246 for the purchase of CLC Genomic Workbench Licenses, and CLC Genomic Server License. This will be a firm fixed price contract to include four, one year option periods. CLC Bio is the sole source provider for the Genomics Workbench and Genomics Server products inluded in the enterprise turnkey solution call Genomics Factory used for molecular biology research and next generation sequencing analysis. A solicitation document (No. W81XWH-12-T-0347) will be published on FedBizOpps and will include a redacted copy of the sole source justification on or before 2 August 2012. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
