- Description
- The CDC, Office on Smoking and Health (OSH) has a requirement for a Local Policy Tracking Project. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, travel, transportation, and perform all work necessary to track trends in state coverage of tobacco control policies. Performance shall include providing detailed quarterly reports on local ordinances; restricting youth access to tobacco products; restricting tobacco advertising; governing conditional use permits; levying local excise taxes on tobacco products; and, restricting smoking in workplaces, restaurants, and bars. Contractor shall provide quarterly reports on the proportion of the U.S. population covered by State and local smoke-free laws. Finally, the contractor shall provide four briefs or fact sheets on trends in selected policy topics, collaborate with CDC in preparing one Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) and analyze specific provisions of local laws at CDC's request. Performance shall be at contractor's facility. The period of performance shall be for 12 months from date of award. This requirement is set-aside for small businesses.
