- Description
- The contractor will provide Essential and critical engineering, research, and development capabilities and services in the continued research and development of the Ballistic Missile Defense System. These services include but are not limited to support in Systems Engineering, Test and Evaluation, Advanced Concepts and Technologies, along with Simulation, Modeling and Operations Analysis. This contract was awarded under other than full and open competition authorized under 10 USC 2304 (c)(3) and as implemented in FAR 6.302-3(a)(2)(ii). The contract and its task orders will be cost plus fixed fee due to the emerging and evolving engineering research, development and technical requirements of this program. It is not possible to define and firmly price these requirements at the outset of this contract.
