- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and subject to availability of funds. The USIBWC requires a quote for immediate rental of 1 ea Aspen Aerial A-75 tractor (or equal) for 1 (one) week at Falcon Dam in Texas. Offers submitting equivalent equipment shall consider that the unit is to be used to inspect the bottom of a spillway gate which is 70 feet below the bridge level. The proposed model must be capable of fitting on a single lane of a road so only a single road lane can be closed during its use. DELIVERY OR UNIT IS REQUIRED BY August 15, 2012. Offerors may submit offers for delivery beyond Aug 15 but no later than Aug 20, 2012. This requirement is deemed urgent. Email offers to the noted Points of Contact will be accepted. This requirement is unrestricted. All interested sources may submit an offer which will be consider by this office. Quotes must be submitted to the point of contact (POC) for this requirement and must be received by 2:00 P.M. MST on July 17, 2012. Contractors are responsible for verifying receipt of their quotes. Offerors shall include Tax Identification Number and DUNS number. Interested vendors shall complete and return a copy of provision of 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items or update and compelete ORCA online. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial items applies to this acquisition (FAR provisions and clauses are available for review at Http://www.arnet.gov/far). Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (a) of this provision is hereby replaced with the following: Award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-price evaluation factors. The non-price evaluation factors and their acceptability standard are: (1) model equivalency, and (2) most expedient delivery date of unit to the site. The clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues of Executive Orders-Commercial items applies to this acquisition. Vendors are required to register or update their registration on the Central Contractor Registration website at http://www.ccr.gov/. This registration is required to receive contract award and will facilitate payment.
