- THE USCG SURFACE FORCES LOGISTICS CENTER, IBCT PRODUCT LINE, HAS A REQUIREMENT TO PROCURE THE ITEM NOTED BELOW. QUOTES MAY BE SUBMITTED BY EMAIL TO CHRISTOPHER.H.LANE@USCG.MIL OR FAXED TO 410-762-6570. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR 6.302-1 FAC 2005-59 (MAY 2012) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 811310. This synopsis/solicitation is issued pursuant to FAR 6.203-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13. THIS NOTICE IS NOT SET A SIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The United States Coast Guard Surfaces Forces Logistics Center has a requirement and requesting quotations for the following : ITEM #1 NSN 5360-01-572-6773 DIAPHRAM ASSY DESCRIPTIVE SPEC DATA : PART NUMBER: H76287-01-2 MFG: WARTSILA DEFENSE INC QTY : 20 EACH REQUIRED DELIVERY DATE: YOUR BEST DELIVERY ALL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED IF RECEIVED NLT JULY 23RD, 2012. EASTERN STANDARD TIME. AWARD WILL BE MADE ON OR AROUND JULY 24 TH, 2012. YOU MUST BE AN AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR OR DEALER OF WARTSILA DEFENSE INC AND PROVIDE WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION FROM WARTSILLA INC NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS: PRESERVATION, PACKING & MARKING SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS: SP-PP&M-001, REV D. DD 10/01/00 ITEMS SHALL BE INDIFIDUALLY PACKED.. BAR CODING - All bar coding required herein shall be Code 39, also called Code 3 of 9 in accordance with ANSI/AIM BC1. ALL Stock numbered items shall be bar coded a. The standard marking required in MARKING for all for all packaging configurations can be applied separately or as part of the Bar Code Label. If the latter option is used the label size shall be adjusted appropriately. b. The stock number or numbers, and purchase order / contract number shall be bar coded with Human Readable Interpretation (HRI) immediately below the bar coding on unit and unitized packs. c. All HRI shall be placed below its associated bar code. The label shall be intended for long term indoor applications where the labels will endure intermittent outdoor exposure. Each label shall be for porous surfaces and consist of paper without plastic laminate. Delivery shall be F.O.B. (End of Clause) NOTICE FOR FILING AGENCY PROTESTS - United States Coast Guard Ombudsman Program It is the policy of the United States Coast Guard (USCG) to issue solicitations and make contract awards in a fair and timely manner. The Ombudsman Program for Agency Protests (OPAP) was established to investigate agency protest issues and resolve them without expensive and time-consuming litigation. OPAP is an independent reviewing authority that is empowered to grant a prevailing protester essentially the same relief as the General Accountability Office (GAO).
