- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for an upcoming acquisition. The 46th Test Wing has a requirement to provide improved resolution for imaging targets using the Supersonic Airborne Tri-gimbaled Infrared System (SATIRS) pod with FLIR SC6000 imaging systems and intends to fulfill this requirement by developing custom lenses that are compatible with the SC6000 and the SATIRS. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333314 and the size standard is 500 employees. This is a small business set-aside acquisition with an estimated value between $80K - $100K. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Government Electronic Posting System (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about 18 July 2011. Offerors will likely have 30 days from RFP release to submit a proposal; however, a submission date of less than 30 days may be directed. No response to this notice is necessary, and no Source List will be maintained. All interested small business contractors are encouraged to register on the Interested Vendors List on the Federal Business Opportunities website. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractors Registration database and Online Representations and Certifications Application orca.bpn.gov database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR or ORCA database will render the company ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS Number. Offerors are recommended to register immediately in order to be eligible for award.
