- Fire Plan Davis Bacon Wage Determination Lake Davis Kiosk Specs Lake Davis Drawings SOLICITATION Lake Davis Kiosk The Forest Service has the requirement to procure services consisting of selective demolition of the restroom structure on the Lake Davis Dam and conversion into a visitors Kiosk. Work includes demolition and removal of the existing roofing, replacement of some existing and placement of additional new structural elements (timber), demolition of existing concrete with disposal into the pits, placement of a new, stamped, concrete pad, installation of a new metal roofing system, and paving of an accessible parking area. The project is located on the Plumas National Forest, west end on the Lake Davis Dam. The site is reached by traveling north on Plumas County Road 113 (Grizzly Road) from State Route 70 ½ approximately 7 miles to PC 126 then west ½ mile on PC 126 or north from Portola on PC 126 (West Street) 8 ½ miles. NOTE: Commercial haul traffic is not allowed on West Street. GPS coordinates: N 39° 52' 59.00", W 120° 28' 37.00" The solicitation package will be uploaded approximately July 10, 2012. Bid closing date will be approximately July 30, 2012. Project is estimated to begin September 4, 2012. Please hold any technical questions until after review of the solicitation.
