- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a Request For Proposal (RFP) for Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Renovations for the Rivers Project Office. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a solicitation is included. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Renovations for the Rivers Project Office. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; Proposal are being requested and a Solicitation is included. 2) Solicitation W912P912R0727 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFQ). 3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR Circular 2005-11 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. 4) The solicitation is a small business set-a-side. 5) DESCRIPTION: Work shall consist of evaluating the existing Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system for the Rivers Project Office and install upgrades and/or remove and replace the existing system and components as required to provide an installed, fully functional, and operating HVAC system that meets the minimum requirements in accordance with the specifications contained in the solicitation. This is a Request for Proposal (RPQ) solicitation. The basis for award will be a Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA) according the SOW. Please see the attached solicitation for Proposal Preparations Instructions. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and will provide the lowest price to the government. Electronic copies or fax copies are required. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be 2 July 2012 at 10 am. This combined Synopsis/Solicitation, potential offerors are responsible to check the information at www.fedbizopps.gov The solicitation package will be posted on FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov Potential offerors MUST register at the St. Louis Contracting Division Home page at http://www.mvs.usace.army.mil/ct/ct/htm and/or at www.fedbizopps.gov./ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. The Interested Vendors List (IVL) will be activated and may be accessed and printed from the FedBizOpps web site. Prospective offerors who would like their company name included on the IVL list may do so on the Fedbizopps website under IVL. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. All interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and have completed On-Line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in order to receive a contract award.
