Responses to this notice are not considered as offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The 628th Contracting Squadron at JB CHS - Air is seeking contractors who are capable of providing Adult books, Audio, and Children's books LEASING services to JB CHS - Air Library and JB CHS - Weapons Library as follows; 0001: McNaughton or equal Adult Book LEASING : Plan Index # G7B10; Monthly Book Allowance 100; Annual Book Allowance 1,200, and; Books in Core Collection 1000 (JB CHS - Air Library) 0002: McNaughton or equal Audio LEASING : Plan Index # AGL3; Maximum (Optional) Starter Points 207; Monthly Point Allowance 90, and; Annual Point Allowance 1,080 (JB CHS - Air Library) 0003: McNaughton or equal Children's LEASING : Plan Index # GPC2; Maximum (Optional) Starter Points 180; Monthly Point Allowance 60, and; Annual Point Allowance 720 (JB CHS - Air Library) 0004: McNaughton or equal Adult Book LEASING : Plan Index # G7B6; Monthly Book Allowance 60; Annual Book Allowance 720, and; Books in Core Collection 600 (JB CHS - Weapons) 0005: McNaughton or equal Audio LEASING : Plan Index # AGL3; Maximum (Optional) Starter Points 207; Monthly Point Allowance 90, and; Annual Point Allowance 1,080 (JB CHS - Weapons) 0006: McNaughton or equal Children's LEASING : Plan Index # GPC2; Maximum (Optional) Starter Points 180; Monthly Point Allowance 60, and; Annual Point Allowance 720 (JB CHS - Weapons) Nonpersonal Services. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision and labor necessary to provide the book LEASING and purchase plan. The performance time is five years (one base year and four option years). A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. Offers solicited on an unrestricted basis. Interested concerns should indicate interest to the Contracting Officer, in writing as early as possible, but no later than TUESDAY, 26 JUN 2012. AS A MINIMUM, THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS REQUIRED: (a) A positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (b) Evidence of three (3) recent experiences in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, and dollar amounts, points of contact with current telephone numbers and percent and description of work performed. All of the above information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested concerns. Failure to submit all information requested may result in a contractor not being considered as an interested concern. If adequate interest is not received, the solicitation will be issued as intent to award sole source without further notice. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 424920 with an employee size of 500. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to visit this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Again, this is not a solicitation or presolicitation.
