- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F1387A21380101; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-39, DCN 20100408, and AFAC 2010-0402. This acquisition will be full and open competition, brand name or equal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335312. ALL REQUESTED ITEMS ARE BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. CLIN 0001: 2 EA; 146 kW Generators in accordance with attached specifications. CLIN 0002: 1 Lump Sum; Shipping & handling, if applicable, for ALL CLINS to Al Mubarak AB, Kuwait: 387 AEG/RA Abdullah Al Mubarak AB, Kuwait APO AE 09855 Please state number of days for delivery with quotation. IF AN OFFER IS MADE ON AN EQUAL ITEM, OFFER SHALL INCLUDE DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE/DOCUMENTATION WHICH DETAILS THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE OFFERED EQUAL ITEM. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none EVALUATION CRITERIA: Evaluation of offers will be completed in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and represents the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: PRICE & TECHNICAL CAPABILITY - PRICE: The price proposed by the offeror will be included as part of the evaluation.
