Description: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AT TAHOMA NATIONAL CEMTERY LOCATED IN KENT, WASHINGTON WITHIN KING COUNTY. THERE WILL BE NO PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING HELD FOR POTENTIAL OFFERORS. POTENTIAL OFFERORS MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE CEMETERY FOR A WALK THROUGH. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting proposals under Solicitation Number VA-786A-12-B-0039 for the following: The contractor shall provide all professional services, labor, supervision, materials, administration necessary for the construction and performance of all work in accordance with the solicitation plans, specifications, drawings, required permits, terms and conditions at Tahoma National Cemetery. Contractor shall install new rain gutters on three (3) committal shelters and on the Public Information Center. Remove existing fabric soil storage structure and install new metal soil storage building at Tahoma National Cemetery. COST MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 to $250,000 CONTRACT DURATION: Performance period is approximately 120 calendar days from date of receipt of Notice To Proceed. NAICS CODE: 236220SIZE STANDARD: $33 Million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-PRICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsible service disabled veteran owned small business responding to this solicitation. REGISTERATION: All potential Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB) small businesses whom intend to bid as the prime on this construction project must be registered in Vetbiz and Vets 100 prior to award at the following URLs http://www.vetbiz.gov and https://vets100.vets.docl.gov. Not only must the winning offeror be registered in Vetbiz but they must be certified by the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) as an SDVOSB prior to award. The winning contractor will delay award if they are not pre-registered on both sites prior to award.
