- FOR ALL INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Scott Mahoney, RDER-PRA-GD, (443) 395-4769 scott.mahoney2@us.army.mil This is a Market Survey to locate sources capable of reconditioning the 150 KW synchronous generator assemblies, NSN 6115-12-341-6789, to a like New Condition. The generator assemblies are part of the Electric Power Plant III (EPP III), which provides power to the Radar Station and Engagement Control Station of the PATRIOT Missile Defense System. These items were designed and manufactured by Lechmotoren GMBH, Altentadt, Germany, CAGE: D0857. Suppliers capable of providing the required services must so indicate by writing to Scott Mahoney via e-mail to scott.mahoney2@us.army.mil. The response must include documentation that demonstrates that the interested source can, in fact: Supply the Army with the services required; Obtain the parts needed for the required effort; Complete the effort (approximately 35 each maximum Generator Assemblies over a 3-year period, 6 each minimum) within a reasonable timeline; and perform the work in accordance to NMWR 9-6115-669 volume 3 as well as generator stator and rotor repairs, reconditioning, and rewinds.
