- Description
- The Black Hills National Forest has a construction contract opportunity to construct a timber observation deck with concrete footings with stacked rock slope protection. A bid bond (SF-24) is required on this project. Both a payment and performance bond will be required of the successful contractor for 100 percent of the contract award amount. The value of the project will be between $150,000 and $250,000.00. The proposed contract time will be 75 calendar days from the date of the issuance of the notice to proceed. This contract opportunity is a total small business set-aside. The solicitation package will be posted by June 28, 2012. Site Visit scheduled: Date: July 12, 2012 Time: 900 MDT Location: Northern Hills Ranger District Office, 2014 N Main St, Spearfish, SD ** You must call to register for the meeting (605) 673-9323 or email bjanderson@fs.fed.us by July 10, 2012 1200 MDT ** It is the contractor's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the normal terrain.
