- Description
- The Department of State (DoS) intends to enter into negotiations with Conference Systems Inc. for an extension of the current contract for an additional twelve month period from June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013 with a 3 month base period and nine one month options. This will allow the Department of State, Audiovisual Services Branch to complete the negotiation, award, and transition to the new competitive effort that has been initiated, but will not be completed prior to the expiration of the current contract SAQMPD04C1156 on May 31, 2012. Conference Systems Inc. provides professional multi-channel equipment and services for simultaneous interpretation equipment for the Department of State, Audiovisual Services Branch. The services require a Secret cleared facility and contractor personnel assigned to the contract must possess a secret security clearance. All responsible sources shall respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information and other technical information literature demonstrating the ability to meet the above requirements. Pricing data including GSA Schedule if applicable should be included. All correspondence must be made via email: stewartj@state.gov. All responses need to be provided in electronic format (.PDF preferred). Font shall be Times New Roman, size 12. Responses shall not exceed 10 pages. All packages submitted by email must be free of any computer virus. If a virus is found, the package will be destroyed and a replacement will be requested, which must be provided within three days after notification. The response must be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement. No telephone requests will be honored. Failure to submit documentation will result in the Government proceeding with negotiations.
