Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability of potential small business firms for a small business category type set-aside. The 910 th Airlift Wing, Vienna, OH 44473 is conducting market research to determine potential sources that possess the skills, capabilities, and experience necessary to furnish Alterations Services for military personnel at the 910 th Air lift Wing. The performance period is five years. Payment will be made with the Government Purchase Card (VISA). This means your business must have the capability to receive payment by credit card. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and resources necessary with the exception of Government-Furnished property (clothing bins and racks) and services to perform alterations services in accordance with the statement of work. The contractor's facility must be within 30 miles of the Air Force Base to provide weekly services Monday through Friday. The Contractor shall accomplish all work under sanitary conditions as specified by the Joint Commission (TJC), Federal, State and Local regulations and codes. The Contractor must possess a minimum of 3 years experience providing Alterations services within the past 5 years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811490 and the small business size standard is $33.5 million. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Carolyn M. Milkovich.1@us.af.mil. Capability Statement: The following requests are designed to apprise the Government of any prospective firm's capabilities. Provide your response to the following: The submission is limited to 3 pages. •1. Name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, and DUNS number. •2. Capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity and comparable work performed within the past 3 years. Description of project, customer name, project dollar value, provide at least 3 examples. •3. Type of business (e.g. SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, HUB Zone, SDB) The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather short statements regarding the company's ability to demonstrate experience in relation to the areas specified herein. All information received in response to this sources sought notice will be marked as proprietary and will be handled accordingly. This synopsis is for information and purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the evaluation. Sewing of stripes - uniforms without lining f. Sewing of name tags, badges, patches - not on pockets g. Sewing of name tags, badges, patches - on pockets (pockets cannot be sewn shut) h. Flight Suit Velcro i. Flight Suit Rank j. Hat- Rank k. Velcro, fleece liner l. Name tape, APEC's parka m. Insignia, flight jacket o. Velcro, flight jacket 4. Please be advised that establishment of a BPA with the Government is not a guarantee of any calls being placed. However, it is not the Government's policy to establish a BPA if it does not intend to use it. When doing business with the Federal Government, Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor's Registration (CCR). Located at www.ccr.gov in order to be awarded an agreement.
