- "Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs." This project is set aside exclusively for Woman Owned Small Business Concerns. The set aside is not negotiable. Whiteman AFB has a requirement to repair a roof on a facility located on the installation. This facility has a Standing Seam Metal roof and has had minor leaks around the vents and flashings for years and has become a recurring problem. The Sheet metal roof is in very good shape and has many years of useful life left, but if these leaks continue, it will further degrade and damage the interior of the facility. The contractor shall provide all labor equipment, materials, and field fact finding investigations to remove all vents and flashings, clean surfaces, re-flash, reseal and install new self sealing fasteners. The solicitation shall be made available electronically on the Government Point of Entry at http://www.fbo.gov (FBO) on or about 21 May 2012. No electronic copies of the solicitation will be made available. Continue to follow FBO under this solicitation number for updates. This acquisition shall be an invitation for bid.
