- PLEASE NOTE THE NUMBER FOR THIS SYNOPSIS AND THE RESULTING SOLICITATION IS HEREBY CHANGED FROM FA8202-10-R-1007 TO FA8202-12-R-1007. ALL RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE SHALL REFER TO THE NEW NUMBER. In addition to the information from the pre-solicitation synopsis for FA8202-10-R-1007-which is hereby changed to FA8202-12-R-1007-the following information applies to interested offerors for this requirement: Contractors wishing to propose to this effort must have and provide a Valid Form DD 2345. Below are instructions on how to obtain this certification. Request Access to Technical Data The following steps must occur to acquire the data referred to in the SOW, via CD. The distribution of the data is authorized and restricted to DoD and U.S. DoD contractors with a valid form DD 2345 only, for Administrative or Operational use. If a contractor does not have a DD 2345 to apply the process is: i. Fill out completed the AF form 2345, Military Critical technical Data Agreement, through the Defense Logistics Agency, Joint Certification Program (JPC), at the link: http://www.dlis.dla.mil/JCP, and send to the appropriate office listed at the top of the form. The process may take up to 5 to 30 working days for approval. ii. After the form is signed by DoD official at JCP and returned to Contractor, send completed form with a request for CD to point of contacts in solicitation via e-mail. iii. Please check the form DD 2345, in the block 4 area, where it lists "the description of relevant business activity", that the certified contractor has certification in the areas of aircraft sustainment or any of the aircraft component systems. iv. Contractor will be required to pay for postage of overnight mailing. A valid Federal Express account number must be provided. v. CD will be sent to Contractor after Contracting receives e-mail with the form DD 2345 and the contractors Federal Express account number for overnight mail.
