- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), on behalf of theMultifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) Program Office (MPO)(JPEOJTRS10), plans to award a firm fixed price contract for the design,development, and production of the MIDS Low Volume Terminal (LVT)Cryptographic Module for MIDS-LVT Block Upgrade 2. This effort willencompass the development and production of a common MIDS-LVTmodernized cryptographic module that will be integrated into existing MIDS-LVThardware, which includes (a) the development, prototype delivery, testing, andintegration of a new MIDS-LVT Cryptographic Module (LCMs) for use in 11different MIDS-LVT hardware variants, and (b) production of approximately10,000 MIDS LCMs for retrofit of all existing MIDS-LVT hardware in service atthe conclusion of the development effort.
