- Workbench Salient Characteristics Item Detail This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being solicited and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government advertises solicitation number W912L7-12-T-0011 as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. This requirement is advertised as an unrestricted acquisition; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332999 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. The Government will consider all offers submitted by a responsible contractor. The following clauses are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5 (Dev) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (JUN 2006) (Deviation). Quotes are due in this office no later than Friday, May 11, 2012, close of business four thirty (4:30) p.m. local central time. Please deliver your quotes via email to Randal.Halbrooks@ng.army.mil or facsimile to 615-313-0562. The Government will evaluate offers using the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable criteria outlined in FAR 15 and FAR 13. The Government will award to the vendor whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government. The Government intends to evaluate proposals and make award without discussions. The Government will award this requirement on a all-or-none basis. Cabinets must be brand name or equal to those manufactured by Stanley Vidmar. For the Government to consider an offer technically acceptable for this requirement, the offered cabinets must meet or exceed the salient characteristics in the attached word document labeled, "Workbench Salient Characteristics". The Government desires delivery within 30 days, vendors must include a delivery schedule in their response to this request for quote. Past Performance will not be an evaluation factor in this acquisition. Point of Contact referencing this solicitation is Randal Halbrooks at 615-313-2628. Vendors who respond to this solicitation must submit a price per container and a total delivered price for all cabinets. Vendors must submit sufficient descriptive literature to determine whether their proposed cabinets meet each of the salient characteristics described; the Government may consider offers that fail to submit proper descriptive literature technically unacceptable without further discussion.
