- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR COMMERCIAL PRICELIST OR PRICE SUPPORT ALONG WITH YOUR COMPANY'S CAGE CODE, TAXPAYER IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, AND DUNS NUMBER. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number W9124P-12-T-0036 is a Sole-Source procurement to Silicon Graphics Federal, Inc. of Silver Springs, Maryland in accordance with FAR Part 13. The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement is 334111.The specified hardware is required to develop software code with transportability between the Integrated Simulation and Tactical Software lab and existing hardware at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center. The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone is soliciting a quote from Silicon Graphics Federal, Inc., for the purchase of: One (1) each UV-PTO UV System- with the following configuration: LSU-ER-BASE - Altix UV 10 Base System with 4 memory risers, DVDRW, Management Module- one (1) each. LSU-MEM-4G - 4GB DDR3 System Memory-thirty two (32) each. LSU-RAID-1 - RAID 1 configuration for UV100 or UV 1000 boot drives- one (1) each. LSU-SAS-2.5IN-600GB 2.5 inch 10KSAS Drive - eight (8) each. LSU-ER-RAID-5 - CONFIGURE SYSDISK AS RAID 5 - one (1) each. DKX-P-001-Z - Destination Kit (US & Canada) - four (4) each. LSU-ER-SASRAID-BBU - SAS card with battery Backup Unit to support SAS RAID 5,6 - one (1) each. LSU-ER-RAIL - Altix UV 10 chassis rail kit - one (1) each. LSU-ERCPU-E78837 - Xeon Processor, 8c/2.66GHz/24M/6.4GT/s plus heat sink - four (4) each. SR5-DEMO-RHEL-6 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 for demo systems ONLY. No support provided - one (1) each. SDL-SFS2-RHEL - SGI foundation Software 2 software download license for RHEL 6. Order 1 per system. (Support contract required) - one (1) each. One (1) each FC-EW3 FULLCARE 3-YEAR EW Ten (10) each CS-SECURE-3Y Fee Per Disk being secured by a support contract customer in a secure site 3 YR, excludes Software Care. One (1) each IS-HWINST-HIGH Initial system hardware installation -. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Other clauses may be included in the award if applicable. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement and quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In the event more than one quote is received, the following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the items offered to meet the Government requirement, price, and delivery. All items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL. Payment will be made via Wide Area Work Flow. Responses are due no later than 11:00 AM (local time), May 21, 2012 in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B-142, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898.
