Description
Amendment 001 to Request for Information (RFI) W58RGZ-12-R-0329 is issued for the purpose of advising potential respondents that three (3) Armed Aerial Scout (AAS) Industry Days have been scheduled for 23, 24, and 25 May 2012 for the purpose of providing potential respondents a general briefing on the purpose of the RFI and the expected use of the respondent's information, as well as an opportunity to ask questions in both an Open Forum and in closed door Individual Industry Sessions. The Individual Industry Sessions are for the purpose of allowing a potential respondent the opportunity to ask any specific, company sensitive questions to better insure that their response addresses the intent of the RFI. No additional information regarding the RFI will be provided by the Government during these sessions unless it is provided to all potential respondents. If a potential respondent desires an Individual Industry Sessions, it is required that a request for this session be e-mailed to AASRFI@peoavn.army.mil no later than 1:00 P.M. CDT, 10 May 2012. All Individual Industry Sessions are planned for no more than 45 minutes. The schedule for the Individual Industry Sessions will be determined based on the order in which the requests are received at the e-mail address AASRFI@peoavn.army.mil on or before 10 May 2012. Questions for the Individual Industry Sessions are required to be provided in advance and are to be provided to the above e-mail address no later than 13:00 CDT, 17 May 2012. A questionnaire form for submission of these questions is provided as Attachment 1 to this RFI Amendment 001. The activities for AAS Industry Days begin at 1:00 P.M. CDT on 23 May 2012 on Redstone Arsenal, Alabama at NASA Building 4312. A map of the location of NASA Building 4312 is provided as Attachment 2 to this RFI Amendment 001. The first day of Industry Days will be an Open Forum to provide a general briefing to include an overview of the RFI, the expected use of the respondent's information, and the details of the planned Voluntary Flight Demonstration (VFD). The Industry Day Agenda is provided as Attachment 3 to this RFI Amendment 001. The first part of the second day of the AAS Industry Days, 24 May 2012, will be Open Forum and begin at 0730 and will consist of a an address by the PEO Aviation, followed by an Open Forum Question and Answer (Q&A) session to answer questions that attendees have previously provided in writing. Open Forum questions are requested to be provided in advance at AASRFI@peoavn.army.mil by 1:00 P.M. CDT, 17 May 2012. A questionnaire form for submission of all questions is provided as Attachment 1 to this RFI Amendment 0001. Attendees at the first day of Industry Days, 23 May 2012, will also be provided this same form before the start of the 23 May 2012 session for the purpose of submitting questions to be addressed in the Open Forum on day two, 24 May 2012. These written questions will be collected at the end of the first day session, 23 May 2012. To insure the accuracy of responses, only written questions will be addressed. After the Q&A Open Forum Session on day two, 24 May 2012, Individual Industry Sessions of no more than 45 minutes will be conducted with each potential respondent that has previously requested an Individual Industry Session on or before 13:00 CDT, 10 May 2012 as described above in this Amendment 001. These Individual Industry Sessions will be conducted on Redstone Arsenal at the PEO Headquarters, Building 5681. A map of the location of Building 5681 is provided as Attachment 4 to this RFI Amendment 001. At the end of day two, 24 May 2012, a final wrap up session will be conducted to provide any additional information that has been obtained from the Individual Industry Sessions that is general in nature; however, no proprietary or company sensitive information obtained during the Individual Industry Sessions will be discussed in the Open Forum. If necessary, day three, 25 May 2012, is scheduled to continue the wrap-up session. Visitors to Redstone Arsenal will need to pre-plan their access to the post by submitting Visit Requests. Information concerning this process is provided as Attachment 5 to this RFI Amendment 001.
