- Description
- The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR Clause 6.302-1 to provide preceptor support services for a multi-phased clinical Field Internship-Hospital Rotation (FI-HR) Program for military medical students and other Government designees attending the Joint Special Operations Combat Medic/Special Forces medical Sergeants Course (SOCM) at the U.S. Army John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS), U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), Fort Bragg, NC. It is the Government's intent to award a sole source acquisition to Virginia Commonwealth University, 737 N. 5th St, Richmond Virginia 23219-1415. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received by 16 May 2012 at 11:00 am EST will be considered by the Government in determining the acquisition for future requirements. A memorandum of Agreement is required prior to contracting for these services therefore extensive research is required prior to any competitive acquisition. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future actions.
