- Questions and Answers Q: Regarding the SOL for Storage containers, is it possible to have offloading available at the delivery site? A: No offloading is not available at the delivery site. It will be the responsibility of the successful offeror to offload the items. Q: It states that the end user wants good/used watertight containers. Because used containers are pretty rough around the edges and cosmetically an eyesore (some rust issues - does not change the wind/water tight condition of the container), would the end user want them refurbished? A: The containers should be good/used with no rust, color Beige. Q: Will these units need to be stacked? A: These units will not need to be stacked. Q: Are the units being placed near the front gate area or will they be going more than 50 miles in? A: These units will be placed at E 18th Street, building 6894, Fort Dix NJ. This location is 3.5 miles south of the commercial vehicle gate and 1.5 miles NW of the Browns Mills gate. Q: What kind of "locking mechanism" is required for on these containers? A: 5200 services locks or equal Body Width 1-3/4", Shackle Clearance 1-1/8", Shackle Diameter 5/16" The required response date/time has changed from 10-May-2012 02:00 PM to 15-May-2012 02:00 PM.
