- Pre-Solicitation Notice Solicitation # FA4418-12-R-0017 (5) EA High Line Docks model # HLD-50-2 or equal for Joint Base Charleston - Air, South Carolina: These conveyor dock systems are required to hold up to (6) 463L pallets of 10,000 lbs ea for a total of 60,000 lbs. The requirement consists of providing any management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure these conveyor dock systems be shipped to Joint Base Charleston- Air, with all required characteristics as prescribed the Statement of Work (SOW). Some required salient characteristics include, but are not limited to, Steel reinforced frame on both end sections to prevent side load damage, welded aluminum side rails, beveled end guide rail frames for easier loading, one way self-closing personnel access gate, roller frames with foot slip/chain catch protection and reinforced walkways underneath to prevent easy bending/buckling. All labor, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other furnished property and services except as specified in the contract as Government Furnished Property will be provided by the contractor. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Competitive Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333922 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 18 May 2012 on the Federal Business opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
