- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC-PCD) intends to solicit Reliable System Services Corporation (RSS), 746 North Drive, Suite B, Melbourne, FL 32934 on a sole source bases for the completion and thermal testing of two (2) S-Band RF Cavity Filters, 2.2-2.4 GHz S-Band Radio. This requirement will be made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The S-Band RF Cavity Filters are currently in production by RSS. The Government does not have the drawings or additional data necessary for another vendor to reverse engineer the RABs and upgrade/modify the system. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The NAICS code is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The order shall be Firm- Fixed-Price with the anticipated award date of May 22, 2012. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. Delivery terms for this requirement are FOB Destination.
