- SUBJECT: Synopsis, Soilid Waste Removal FA2835-12-R-0015, Hanscom AFB This synopsis is notification of the ESC/PKOB Contracting Branch, Hanscom AFB, MA, intent to award a contract for Refuse Collection Services. It is our intent to award a base year plus two option years. Start date of the service will be 02 July 2012, subject to availability of funds, funds are not currently available. A solicitation is anticipated to be posted on or around 11 May 2012. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58, effective 18 Apr 2012. AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman, applies and is available at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. This will be solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111. The SBA size standard is $12.5 million. The solicitation will be available at https://fbo.gov. Potential offerors MUST register at https://fbo.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs. All interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to receive a contract award. Register on-line at https://www.ccr.gov. Also, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database.
