Description

J28 J26, J27 J25 J24 J23 J22 J21 J20 J19 J18 J17 J16 J15 J14 J12, J13 J10, J11 J9 J8 J5, J6, J7 J4 J3 J2 PLEASE PRINT OUT SOLICITATION. A proposal is requested for the installation and operation on the contractor's computer of Comprehensive Mailing List System (CMLS) and Batch Oriented BPH Inventory Control System (BPHICS) and the web-based online data entry and research application (NLS WebNet). Requirements includes document processing, data entry maintenance of the CMLS and BPHICS databases, support of existing software, ongoing development, hotline technical support, and administrative and project management duties. Existing sets of programs will be provided. The current systems, CMLS, BPHICS, and NLS WebNet operate on two contractor-owned IBM systems running under the Z/OS operating system. Should a contractor propose hardware or software conversion, all new software, source code and programs, will be the property of NLS/BPH and must remain easily portable to other hardware. The contractor shall adapt the programs to its computer (in ways which would not inhibit future use of these programs on other hardware). Initially, all new software must operate in a manner functionally equivalent to the existing system using the existing formats for reporting and data exchange.
