Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), headquartered in Atlanta, GA, contemplates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract in order to procure an electronic data collection instrument (DCI) for the Medical Monitoring Project (MMP). The Contractor shall develop a MRA DCI that meets requirements for MMP as outlined in the MMP Protocol. The DCI production schedule must meet MMP project timelines for annual data collection rounds starting July 2012. The Contractor shall conduct complete product testing of the MRA DCI to ensure functionality, provide all necessary training for CDC staff, provide user manuals for the MMP DCI, and provide CDC with a validated data dictionary for all variables (e.g., verification of the order, name, type, and label of each variable) in the dataset. Throughout the contract, the Contractor shall provide technical support for the instrument to the 23 MMP project areas.. The period of performance will consist of a base year of 12 months with four, one-year options. This procurement is open to full and open competition. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). FBO is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. You may access FBO via the following URL, www.fbo.gov. Also, beginning January 1, 2005, as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) all vendors will be required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission. You may access ORCA via the following URL, www.orca.bpn.gov. Potential offerors should refer to the solicitation package regarding instructions involving the use of ORCA. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), if any to the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about 5/21/12.
