Description
SOW The intent of this Request for Information (RFI) is to locate those with the capability to provide the following services: Janitorial Services for The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Professional Development Center (PDC), located at 69 Thomas Johnson Drive, Suite 100, (Building 1), Frederick, MD 21702, with 25,782 square feet of usable space and 67 Thomas Johnson Drive, Suite A2, (Building 2) with 12,084 square feet of usable space is seeking janitorial services, within the local commuting area, to be performed October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013. The janitorial services will meet with all standards of cleanliness, which will reflect good housekeeping, as determined by the on-site Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The Statement of Work will be incorporated into the contract. The Government will furnish all hand paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, air fresheners, toilet seat covers and hand soap. The Contractor will furnish all necessary cleaning supplies (disinfectant, cleanser, floor wax, furniture polish, floor cleaner, glass cleaner, paper towels, feminine product for dispensers, disposal bags and urinal cakes, mops, brooms, dusters and cloths) and equipment (floor buffers, buffer heads, carpet cleaning machines and supplies), required to perform services stated in the statement of work for the cleanliness of the building. The hours of janitorial services will be from 5:30 pm daily until finished (cleaning restrooms after 6:00 pm). Special schedules are made for quarterly maintenance operations and are approved upon notification to the government.
