Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, MEC Product Line, has a requirement for the purchase of 210', B Class, Propeller Hub Parts, in support of USCG Medium Endurance Cutter operations. It is anticipated that a non-competitive, fixed price, sole source contract will be awarded to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Rolls Royce, or an authorized representative/distributor for this equipment. It is the Government's belief that only Rolls Royce possesses the required capabilities to successfully manufacture these parts and can ensure compatibility with existing onboard equipment and conformity to the OEM design and material requirements NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY!! The U.S. Coast Guard does NOT possess the data rights to the specifications, drawings or other technical data. All data, specifications, and drawings are proprietary to Rolls Royce. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate only with Rolls Royce or an authorized representative/distributor. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the items are invited to submit complete and current information discussing their capabilities within 10 calendar days from the date this notice is posted. The following information must be provided and must include sufficient detail to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the acceptability of the offered system and components: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional characteristics), 2) Data to confirm that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the OEM, or 3) Evidence that you are an authorized representative/distributor of this equipment for Rolls Royce. This is not a Request for Proposal; therefore, no pricing information shall be submitted at this time. Information due shall be submitted via e-mail or fax notice to Ms. Harwood at Florence.m.harwood@uscg.mil or Fax (410)762-6050.
