- Description
- The purpose of this solicitation is for the remodel of the front office of the Wenatchee River Ranger District. The area to be remodeled is approximately 455 square feet and includes cabinetry, electrical, carpeting, wood finishing and other related renovation work. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with drawings, specifications, and provisions of the contract. The Contractor shall utilize products and materials that promote energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, use of recovered materials, that are environmentally preferable, and are made from biobased materials (e.g. insulating foam, composite panels, and concrete with fly ash) to the maximum extent possible without jeopardizing the intended end use or detracting from the overall quality delivered. The Contractor is responsible for visiting the job site, and determining all labor and additional supplies needed prior to submitting a quote. Payment for contract work will be made only for and under those pay items included in the Schedule of Items. All other work and materials will be considered as incidental to and included in the payment for items shown. The actual remodel construction of this project cannot begin until November 1, 2012. Submittals and cabinet construction may begin prior to this date. This project is located on the Wenatchee River Ranger District, Chelan County, Leavenworth, Washington. This project is estimated to range between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code is 236220. The Government will award a single contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter, whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on or around May 21, 2012. No Solicitations will be mailed.
