Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO USE OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION IN THE AREA OF SPOKANE, WASHINGTON. The U S Government currently occupies approximately 7804 rentable square feet of space located at 7710 N. Market Street, Spokane, WA 99217. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) plans to negotiate a succeeding lease at the existing location due to the economic benefit, mission related reasons and other factors. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making a determinateion the Government will consider relocation if financial consideration is given to the physical move costs, telecommunication relocation, disruption of agency productivity and replication of Tenant Improvement Costs. The Government requires contiguous space which consists of approximately 1200 sf of administrative office space, along with 6,600sf of maintenance support space with three (3) vehicle bays and parking for 10 vehicles with driveway turning clearance for semi-truck deliveries adjacent to the building. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the SFO. A fully serviced lease is required, which means all services, supplies, utilities and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Offered space shall not be in the 100 years flood plain. The area of consideration is five mile radius from 10710 N. Newport Hwy, Spokane, WA. The lease term will be for ten (10) years, with a 5 years firm term. They should be received by this office no later than 4:30p.m. (PST) on May 11, 2012.
