Description
Attachment B - Bangladesh Value Chain Selection and Rapid Analysis Attachment A - Value Chain Apprach Solicitation document The goal of the Agricultural Value Chains program is improved food security through strengthened agricultural value chains. The Contractor will achieve broad-based economic growth which enhances long-term food security in the targeted area by applying a market systems approach. This approach must be sustainable - i.e., capable of continuing to achieve results after the life of activity. The market systems approach will transform targeted agricultural value chains to increase on and off-farm income at the household level. The Contractor will target a portfolio of both food and non-food agricultural crops and will address shared constraints across those agricultural value chains. The Contractor will also address essential support services that may be lacking in the targeted areas and market systems (for example, access to finance, extension services, etc.).
