Description
This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify companies with the capacity, experience, and interest in competing for a Job Order Contract at Naval Support Activity, Souda Bay, Crete, Greece. The work will be predominantly at NSA Souda Bay at various locations on the island of Crete. However, work may be requested at other military locations in Greece. The work includes, but is not limited to, a broad range of construction, repair, renovation, demolition, and alterations work on real property. The contractor shall use the offered coefficients to adjust unit prices in the R.S. Means Facilities Construction Cost Data (R.S. Means) Book. The Government will issue task orders for various types of projects using the latest edition of the R.S. Means estimating guide to determine labor hours, material, and equipment. The contractor will be required to maintain a management office on NSA Souda Bay in order to receive work requests, conduct site visits, develop estimates, and provide other management services related to accomplishing individuals jobs. The work will include tasks in a variety of trades, such as: plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete, masonry, and welding. The estimated value of the JOC will be a total aggregate amount of $30,000,000 over the life of the contract. The minimum guaranteed amount for this procurement will be $50,000.00. This minimum guaranteed amount is applicable only to the base period and will be awarded with the issuance of Task Order 0001. Task Order values may range from $2,000 to $3,000,000. The contract terms will be a base period of one year plus four option periods. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months. The NAICS code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.
