- Contract W31P4Q-08-D-0035, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Engineering and Technical Services supporting the Joint Systems Integration Laboratory, will be modified to add an estimated $18.4M and 108,878 Labor hours and an estimated $5.04 in Material, travel, and other direct costs to Order Period 5; and an estimated $10.4M and 58,879 Labor hours and an estimated $1.54M in Material, travel, and other Direct Costs to Order Period 6. This action is necessary because of higher than anticipated wartime customer requirements for SHADOW UAS engineering and technical services, resulted in accelerated issuing of available labor hours and associated material travel and other direct costs. AAI Corporation, 124 Industry Lane, Hunt Valley, MD 21030--3342 is the incumbent contractor and is the only source with the technical knowledge and expertise to accomplish the required technology integration, test, demonstration and operational exercise efforts for its fleet of UAS systems currently consisting of the PIONEER, SHADOW 200, SHADOW 400, SHADOW 600 and associated ground support equipment. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
